Beauty Favourites of 2011
I have decided to split my favourites over 2 posts, this one will focus on my beauty favourites and the next will focus on hair and body favourites.
Face

♥ MAC Strobe Liquid Lotion: I mix this together with the Smashbox primer to make what I believe is the best primer. I love the luminous effect it achieves, and also helps my make-up go on much nicer.
♥ Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua: A natural but flawless finish, this is my Holy Grail foundation. I love that you can build up the coverage to suit your skin and that it leaves a lovely dewy finish.
♥ Avon Smooth Mineral Liquid Foundation: This is my favourite “cheaper” foundation. It provides a light to medium coverage with a luminous finish, great for summer.
♥ Garnier Caffeine Anti-dark Circles 2-in-1 Roll-on: A great under-eye concealer that makes your eyes appear more awake. Also provides a refreshing cooling effect that wakes you up a little.
♥ Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer: The perfect concealer. Covers all imperfections, can also be used as an under-eye concealer and lasts all day long. It blends like a dream to produce a nice matt finish.
Cheeks

♥ No.7 Mineral Perfection Loose Powder Blusher in Rose Pink: This highly pigmented, blendable, flawless baby pink blush is stunning.
♥ Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder: The perfect colour that when applied does not make me look orange instead it gives me a nice subtle colour. It also smells like chocolate which is always a plus!
♥ BeneFit High Beam: A favourite amongst many, I like to apply this to my cheekbones and brow bones to create that glowy effect.
Eyes

♥ Urban Decay Naked Palette: This palette is the definition of perfection.
♥ Max Factor Kohl Pencil: I don’t really use eyeliner that often, but when I do this is the one I love. It goes on smoothly, is blendable and stays on throughout the day which is all that I need!
♥ No.7 Extravagant Lashes: This mascara has received some bad reviews over the year but this is my day to day mascara. It may not be the best there is but it creates a natural look that lengthens and adds volume to my lashes. I have to say though I already have a new favourite for this year!
♥ Boujois Volume Clubbing Mascara: To achieve a more dramatic effect I like to use this mascara. It is great for when you are going out as it has great staying power is great and achieves very voluminous lashes.
Lips

♥ Avon Ultra Colour Rich lipstick in Pout: A slightly pinky nude that makes a great alternative to your typical nude. I am not a big lipstick wearer but these two really are beautiful.
♥ ELF Conditioning Lip Balm in Peaceful Pink: This lip balm is a great alternative to lipstick and lip gloss that is very moisturising. Great to give your lips a hint of colour.
♥ Dior Addict Ultra Gloss Reflect in Jersey Pink: Firstly, I love the packaging. This is a pretty, lightweight lip gloss that is neither sticky or gloopy and creates the perfect shimmer finish.
Nails

♥ NYC in Canal Street
♥ Nails Inc in Jermyn Street
♥ No.7 Stay Perfect in Damson Dream
♥ Maybelline Finish Express in Turquoise Green
Phew, that was a long post! So there are my beauty favourites in 2011. Are there any products you would like a more in-depth review on?
Are any of these products your favourite? If not what are your favourites?
I hope you have all had a lovely day :)
XOXO Carissa

@Hayley Chanel Vitalumiere is heaven <3 Unfortunately mine is too dark for the winter so I may have to treat myself to a lighter one (secretly happy haha)
