Body, Face and Hair Favourites 2011

Hello my lovelies,

Here is part 2 of my favourites in 2011. This time I will be looking at the Body, Face and Hair products that I reached for the most in 2011. As this is quite a lengthy post I will try and keep the comments short but sweet!

Body

St Moriz Instant Self Tanning Mousse: Easy to apply, provides a lovely colour that is not orange (always a bonus) is cheap and streak free, perfect.

Garnier Summer Body Moisturising Lotion Sun-kissed Look: The only gradual tanner I will use, smells like apricots and provides an even flawless colour.

Garnier Body Tonic with Seaweed Extract Hydrating Lotion: Smells like citrus, very refreshing and great at moisturising, dries almost instantly.

Jergens Naturals Cocoa Butter Moisturiser: I love that this moisturiser is 96% natural. It also leaves a lovely scent on your skin for the rest of the day.

Pretty Polly Moisturising Leg Shimmer: I often wear this on a night out if I can’t be bothered to fake tan or want to add a bit of a shimmer.

The Body Shop Blueberry and Mango Body Butter: I am sure all of you know how nice The Body Shop Body Butters are; they smell lovely, last a long time and are very moisturising.

Soap and Glory Flake Away Body Scrub: Not much I can say other than the best body scrub I have ever used that makes my skin so smooth.

Flower by Kenzo: I was bought this by my boyfriend and it’s definitely my favourite perfume. I love love love the smell.

Face

Lush Bubblegum Flavour Sugar Lip Scrub: Removes all dead skin on your lips, great before applying any lip products. Tastes and smells like bubblegum (mmmm!).

Johnsons Gentle Eye Make-up Remover: Easily removes eye make-up and does not leave a greasy residue.

No.7 Radiance Booster Hot Cloth Cleanser: A great cheaper alternative to the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser that works almost just as well!

No.7 Soft and Soothed Gentle Toner: Lovely and soothing, removes any extra makeup that the cleanser and eye make-up remover has missed. Does not dry my skin out either, which can be a problem with some toners.

E45 Cream: My saviour in the winter months. My skins seems to have suffered a lot these past few months and this is the only product that has cleared up my eczema and dry patches.

Soap and Glory Glow Job Moisturising Lotion: More of a summer moisturiser, as it contains tanning beads, but has a lovely smell and is a nice light moisturiser.

Simple Kind to Skin Replenishing Rich Moisturiser: I like the simple range, and this is no exception. Great for my sensitive skin as there is no perfume or colour and absorbs quickly.

NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Usage Dry Oil: The perfect multi-use oil that smells so luxurious. I use this on my hair, skin and cuticles to nourish repair and soften.

Lush Oatfix Fresh Face mask: Words cannot express how much I love this face mask.
Designed for sensitive dry skin, this face mask leaves my skin nourished, moisturised and smooth. This also smells so yummy and as it is kept in the fridge it is very refreshing.

Soap and Glory The Fab Pore Facial Peel: Used once a week, this luxurious feeling facemask really does helps reduce the appearance of pores temporarily. Also leaves my face feeling smooth and soft.

Hair

Schwarzkopf Got2b Guardian Angel Heat Protection: A great heat protectant that stops my hair from frazzling. I love the smell and it does not leave my hair feeling greasy.

John Frieda Sheer Blonde Colour Renew Shampoo and Conditioner: One of few purple shampoo/conditioner that you can find in your local Boots/Superdrug. Stops my hair from going brassy coloured and leaves my hair soft, shiny and doesn’t weigh it down at all.

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Light and Blonde: The best dry shampoo I have used and I have purchased a few over the years. I love the blonde one especially as it is good at lightening roots in the period between having highlights.

L’oreal Kids Mauro’s Sweet Pear Tangle Tamer: I suffer from tangled hair, so I use this along with the Denman brush to help detangle my hair.

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum: Has been a favourite for years, it smells SO good. Great for blow drying, straightening or curling my hair.

Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance Leave-in Conditioner: Keeps my hair soft and hydrated and again, smells amazing. I am a sucker for nice smelling hair products.

Charles Worthington Takeaways Sunshine After Sun Shot: Great during the summer months when your hair has been under direct sunlight and is therefore feeling very dry.

Denman D90 Tangle Tamer: My saviour. Helps to detangle my hair without ripping it out, highly recommended!

I hope you enjoyed my favourites of 2011, I certainly enjoyed writing it! Let me know if you have made a post/video for your favourites as I love checking them out!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend,

Lots of Love,

Carissa xxx
