Amsterdam Day 3 & 4

Unfortunately on day 3 I woke up with really bad stomach cramps and so I stayed in the apartment whilst the girls went out and shopped. Not wanting to stay in the apartment all day the girls came back and we went to join the queue for Anne Franks house. You can prebuy tickets, but this must be done months in advance, therefore we queued for around an hour and a half but it was well worth the wait. It is all very surreal seeing the book case that hid the stair case and the annex they hid in,  They also have the original diary on show, it is all very moving.

That night we went to a Greek restuarant called Mitsos, where we had a lovely meal and chatted to the locals. We then headed back to the apartment and relaxed and watched some movies. I was still in quite a bit of pain so it was nice to have a night in.

The next day was our last day and we headed to a local market recommended by our Airbnb owner. It was absolutely manic but a great little spot. Our flight was due to leave early afternoon so we had to make our way back to the apartment and to the airport. I can safetly say I will be back, I absolutely loved the relaxed atmosphere and the stunning houses. Do visit if you can!

  1. I would love to visit Amsterdam, it`s a country with such a rich culture, but at the same time it has lots of great places to hang out. I was so touched when I read Anne`s Frank diary, it would be amazing to see the real one.
